Absolutely wonderful We spent about 10 days with Adrian touring areas in Romania and Bulgaria and the whole trip was amazing. Adrian is a perfect tour organizer and guide. He is so kind and thoughtful, and really adds a personal touch to everything about the trip. He gets to know you and offers interesting and unique experiences that make his tours truly one-of-a-kind. Starting out, he had the van well stocked with bottles of water - still and sparkling - along with tissues and lots of other travel essentials that came in handy. After a few days of my husband ordering Coke Zero everywhere we ate, a stock of Coke Zero showed up in the van cooler. Adrian knows so much about the area and its history. I felt like spending a week traveling around with him probably taught me more about Romanian history and culture than you’d learn in a semester college course on the same topic. Adrian clearly works hard to come up with unique and authentic experiences for the guests on his tours, but does so in a way that is organic and comfortable - not contrived. Not only does he take you to the classic sites (Bran Castle, the Black Church, etc.) he will add out-of-the-way places that fit your interests. We got to see traditional coppersmithing, blacksmithing, and pottery making and went to a jam tasting along with a couple of charming traditional dinners in Romania and Bulgaria. Spending time with locals in their homes were some of the most memorable parts of the trip. Adrian is a truly charming person who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your trip. Do yourself a HUGE favor and book a trip with him. My best advice is to be honest about what is important to you and what you’re looking for. He give you just what you’re looking for if you let him know what that is - are you on a budget? Would you rather pay a little more for a more comfortable hotel or better restaurants? How far do you want to walk? How often do you need to stop for food or restrooms? If you are looking for a truly customized experience, look no further! Adrian will be your new favorite guide. You’ll love Romania almost as much as Adrian.

We recently returned from a fabulous week long tour of Transylvania. Everyone should visit Romania at least once in their lifetime, and more than once if they’re lucky. Even seasoned travelers will be awestruck by the country’s outstanding natural beauty, the stunning architecture and the welcoming nature of its people. To fully appreciate everything Romania has to offer, we highly recommend Adrian Ene and Tours in Romania, especially if you are a first time visitor. We had less than a month to plan a two week trip around the country during high season, not an easy task. We could not do it on our own and found Tours in Romania through the recommendation of another traveler, and Adrian did not disappoint. He went above and beyond planning every detail of our itinerary, suggesting unique hotels, sending menus to select our meals, and his communication was excellent. The tour price was a great value compared to many other EU countries and included airport transport, hotels, entrance fees and many meals. History is found around every corner, and no one can rival Adrian’s encyclopedic knowledge of the culture, folklore or the origins of every sight we visited. Romania is home to eight World Heritage sights, dozens of medieval fortified churches, impressive castles, the Carpathian Mountains, the Danube Delta, and Bucharest, the Little Paris of the East. There’s so much to see. Accommodations were lovely, especially the homestay and the medieval hotels. Some of our fondest memories are of the farmers working in the fields and the locals in their tiny villages. Adrian always stopped when we wanted to take a photo and taught us basic phrases so we could share a few words with the locals. We cannot express our gratitude to Adrian for helping us fall in love with Romania. He is committed to providing the best, personalized tour and asks each day if you are happy or want to see more nature, less museums, eat with the locals, visit a special sight off the beaten path, etc. He has so many unique suggestions and wants each guest to be completely satisfied. Adrian is patient, flexible, very knowledgeable. He’s just the kind of person you want to meet and go exploring with in a foreign land.

Adrian is an enjoyable guide who takes care that his clients have the best travel experience possible. He offers several choices of sights to see in each locale and is flexible about the time schedule. Each day started with treats and water available in the car to make sure we comfortable while traveling. He was knowledgeable about places to eat and encouraged us to try the local food, which was delicious and plentiful. He gave us lots of information about the places we saw and was able to get us into them without waiting in the long tourist lines. Some of our favorite experiences were The Village in Bucharest and in Sibiu, the meals with local families along the route, the fortified churches, particularly the one in Harman, Bran Castle and Peles Castle, a must see in our book. Every day he picked us up on time, waiting with a clean car, water and some snacks. We felt very safe with him driving (even at night) , as he is probably the best driver on Romanian roads. My customised solo trip was for 10 days started from Bucharest - Sinaia & Peles Castle–Bran Castle-Brasov - Sighisoara-Turda–Cluj–Baia Mare. Adrian has very well customised it and he properly managed with some extra places which were not included in the itinerary and on the way he give me some extra time to visit the marvellous jewels of Romania. He's well mannered, talented, understanding person and you can have something extra from him which is not in itinerary. Romanian Tour Adrian arranged a superb eight day tour for us. This included overnight stays in Sibiu, Sighisoara and Brasov. After discussing our requirements we had left the details of the trip to Adrian who scheduled a full itinerary of sightseeing and visits, many off the beaten track. We were able to set a pace to suit ourselves, I’m not as fit as I’d like and Adrian was at all times mindful of this. Finally, and with very little notice, Adrian was able to arrange an informative one day tour of Bucharest. Adrian’s obvious love of Romania shines through in his knowledge and enthusiasm and is only matched by his professional and friendly approach. We had the most fabulous trip to the Carpathian mountains with Adrian We toured for a week, 3 families in 3 cars with 7 children aged 12-16. Adrian is a highly knowledgeable and warm hearted guide , which also had a great rapore with the kids who were of all ages with his stories and anecdotes. Full Day Trip to Dracula Castle with stops in many other lovely towns. Adrian picked the 4 of us up at our hotel for the day. This trip was about going to Dracula Castle. He was there well before the pick-up time of 9am, which was great as he was waiting for us with a smile. This is a full day tour which lasted from 9am - 11pm. Adrian spoke excellent English and began pointing out important buildings and history. He had a wealth of knowledge, jokes and a great sense of humor. We stopped in many locations. Had lunch and dinner together. The 4 of us had just finished a 15 day river cruise of the Viking Long Boat and we all agreed this was the best part of our entire trip. Adrian is very interested in knowing what and where you want to go and he'll make it happen. Book Adrian, and you won't be disappointed.
